Gently Blotting the Stain
Start by gently blotting the area with a damp rag. Don't rub too hard or you might end up spreading the stain. As you blot the rag against the fabric, move cloth in a circular motion to help lift the stain from the fibers. If this doesn't work, try adding a few drops of mild dish soap directly to the area and then gently rubbing the fabric together to create a lather.
Using Baking Soda on Heavy Stains
For tougher stains, you may want to use a combination of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. Mix 1 teaspoon of baking soda and 2 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide to form a paste. Once the paste is ready, gently rub it onto the stain and leave it to sit for 15 to 20 minutes. When the time is up, rinse the area with cold water and see if the stain has been lifted.
Cleaning with White Vinegar
White vinegar is another great option for removing mouthwash stains. To use this method, simply soak the affected area in white vinegar for 10 to 15 minutes. Once the fabric has had time to absorb the vinegar, rinse it with cold water and let it air dry. If the stain is still visible, you may have to repeat this process.
Removing Stubborn Stains with Rubbing Alcohol
If none of the above methods are working, try using rubbing alcohol as your last resort. Simply apply a small amount of rubbing alcohol directly to the stain and allow it to sit for a few minutes. Then, use a soft cloth to dab (not rub) at the stained area until the stain starts to fade away. Finish by rinsing the capris in cold water and allow them to air dry.
Maintaining Your Capris to Avoid Future Stains
Once you've successfully removed stain, make sure to take proper care of your capris so you don't have to deal with similar stains in the future. Try washing them at least once a week, as this will help prevent any build up of dirt and grease that could lead to staining. Additionally, try to avoid wearing them for more than one day in a row to keep them looking their best.
