Mouthwash can provide a quick fix to bad breath in an emergency, but it can also leave behind pesky stains. Fortunately, there are some economical and simple ways to get rid of those stains from your bodycon dress.
This is the easiest way to deal with mouthwash stains. Simply soak your bodycon dress in warm soapy water for 10 minutes and then rinse it in cool water. Use a gentle laundry detergent to get rid of any remaining residue, and let dress air dry.
If the soap and water method isn't quite cutting it, try using the power of baking soda and vinegar. You'll need to mix equal parts of baking soda and white vinegar and apply the solution directly onto the stain. Let it sit for 10 minutes, and then wash your dress as usual. If first application doesn't completely remove the stain, try repeating this process.
You can find plenty of citrus-based cleaners at store. Simply put some of the cleaner onto a cloth and rub it gently onto mouthwash stain. Then, toss your bodycon dress into wash and let it air dry.
If all else fails, a professional dry cleaner may be needed to completely remove the stain. Before you take your dress to cleaners, make sure to check for any special washing instructions that may be listed on garment’s tag.
Stains from mouthwash don't have to ruin your lovely bodycon dress. With a little patience and elbow grease you can easily restore your dress to its original condition. With these easy remedies, you'll be able to wear your dress proudly again soon!
