Mouthwash is an effective way to keep your breath fresh, but when it comes to stains, it can be challenging to remove. Unwanted mouthwash stains on your apron can be unsightly and embarrassing. To make sure that your apron looks as good as new, here are some tips on how to clean unwanted mouthwash stains:

1. Pre-treating the Stain

The first step in removing mouthwash stains is pre-treating the stained area. To do this, mix up a solution of one part liquid laundry detergent and two parts hot water in a bowl or bucket. Then, soak a clean washcloth in the solution and wring out the excess water before dabbing at the stained area of the apron. Do not rub the area, as this will cause the stain to spread. Let the pre-treatment solution sit for about 30 minutes before proceeding to the next step.

2. Washing the Apron

Once the pre-treatment solution has had sufficient time to work its magic, it’s time to launder the apron. Use the hottest water setting on the washing machine that’s safe for the fabric, and use a heavy stain remover along with detergent to get out any remaining stains. After the apron is done washing, inspect the area for any remnants of the stain. If the stain is still present, you’ll need to repeat steps one and two.

3. Drying the Apron

After all the mouthwash stains are removed, put the apron in the dryer on the lowest heat setting possible. Inspect your apron once it’s finished drying and if there are visible stains, you may need to machine-wash it one more time.
