The first step in cleaning a medicine stain from voile is to get a closer look. You'll want to determine size and color of the stain so that you can decide which cleaning method to use. If stain is still wet, use paper towels or a cloth to blot the area and help absorb any excess liquid.
Once the stain is dry, you should apply a cleaning solution to the affected area. It's best to use a natural cleaning product, such as vinegar, lemon juice, or baking soda. For smaller stains, you can make a paste with cleaning solution and rub it into the fabric. To target larger stains, make a more dilute solution and soak the voile in it.
Once cleaning solution has had some time to work, you'll need to rinse the fabric. Use cold water to avoid setting the stain into the fabric. If the stain is still present, repeat steps two and three until the stain is no longer visible.
After you've rinsed voile, use a towel to pat it dry. Don't rub the fabric or wring it out, as this could cause the fabric to become discolored. Hang voile up to completely dry, away from direct sunlight.
