What You'll Need

  • Small brush
  • Cold water
  • Dry cleaning solvent
  • Small bowl
  • Paper towels

Instructions

  1. Start by gently brushing away any debris on stained area.
  2. Using a small bowl, mix cold water and dry cleaning solvent in a 1:2 ratio.
  3. Carefully dip a paper towel in the mixture and dab the stain.
  4. Continue dabbing until the stain has faded away.
  5. Once the stain is gone, use clean cold water and paper towels to gently blot the tuxedo dry.

Additional Tips

  • Try not to rub the stain, as this could cause it to spread.
  • Be sure to use a small brush so you don't damage any delicate fabrics.
  • Avoid using hot water, as it can set the stain.
