What You'll Need

  • Liquid laundry detergent
  • White vinegar
  • A clean cloth or brush

Step 1: Pre-treat the Stains

Start by pouring some liquid laundry detergent directly onto the stain. Using a clean cloth or brush, gently rub the detergent into the fabric, making sure to cover the whole area. Let the detergent sit on the stain for about 15 minutes.

Step 2: Rinse with Cold Water

Rinse the stained area with cold water using a clean cloth or brush. Make sure all of the detergent is gone and that the stain is completely rinsed away.

Step 3: Add White Vinegar

Once area is rinsed, pour a small amount of white vinegar onto the stain and let it sit for another 10 minutes. This will help to further break down any lingering stains.

Step 4: Wash as Normal

Finally, wash your t-shirt as normal. Be sure to check the stained area to make sure stain has been removed before throwing it in dryer. If the stain persists, you may need to repeat this process.
