Use a towel to blot stain to remove as much of the medicine as possible. Don't rub or scrub; instead, blot the stain gentle to prevent it from spreading.
Mix one part mild dish soap with three parts water in a spray bottle. Spray stain with solution and allow it to sit for up to five minutes.
Use a sponge to gently scrub the stain using circular motions. Work the soap solution into the fabric until the stain has faded or completely disappeared.
Rinse the tie with cold water to remove the soap solution. Blot the area with a towel to remove excess moisture.
Allow the tie to air dry completely before wearing or storing it. Do not use a blow dryer or put the tie in dryer.
