Before you start cleaning, remove any excess liquid, powder, or residue from stain. Scrape away gently with a plastic knife if necessary and blot off any remaining liquid with a clean white cloth or paper towel.
Mix together 1 teaspoon of dishwashing liquid, 1 tablespoon of white vinegar, 1 tablespoon of distilled white vinegar, 1 teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1 tablespoon of cleansing oil in a cup or bowl. Stir until the ingredients combine evenly.
Apply the cleaning solution directly to the stain. Work the solution into stain using a gentle circular motion. Allow solution to sit on the stain for 10-15 minutes.
Once the solution has had time to work, begin rinsing the area with cold water. Use a clean, dry brush to scrub the area if needed. The brush should be used lightly so as not to damage the fabric.
Pat the area dry with a clean white cloth or paper towel. Inspect the area to ensure the stain has been removed. If stain remains, repeat Steps 1-5.
Cleaning medicine stains from tencel fabrics can be a difficult task. By following the steps outlined above, you can effectively remove these stubborn stains and keep your tencel looking like new.
