First, blot the stain with a clean, white cloth or paper towels to remove as much of medicine as possible. Make sure you don't rub or scrub stain into fabric as this could spread stain and make it even harder to remove.
Mix a small amount of laundry detergent with lukewarm water, and then apply it directly to the stained area with a soft brush or sponge. Allow mixture to sit for 15 minutes before blotting it up.
For tougher stains, mix equal parts white vinegar and warm water, and then soak the stained area for 30 minutes. After soaking, give the fabric a gentle rub, and then rinse area with cool water.
Wash the fabric according to the care label instructions, and be sure to use a laundry detergent that is made for delicate fabrics. For extra cleaning power, you can add a few drops of dish soap or a cup of white vinegar to the washing cycle.
Once the stain has been removed, dry the fabric on the lowest heat setting possible. It is important to avoid high heats as this could cause the medicine stain to set into the fabric making it impossible to remove.
Finally, check the fabric for any remaining stains. If necessary, repeat the steps outlined above until all traces of the stain are gone.
