The first step to removing medicine stains is to pre-treat the area. You can use a commercial stain remover or mix together a few drops of laundry detergent with some cold water. Apply the mixture directly onto stain and scrub gently with a soft brush or cloth. Leave the solution to sit for 10 minutes before washing as normal.
When it comes to washing medication stains, it’s best to use hot water. Hot water helps to break down the stain molecules and will help to get rid of tough spots more effectively than cold water. Be sure to follow the instructions on the label of your sleep pants to avoid any damage.
If the stain is still visible after washing, you can try using bleach or oxygenated bleaches such as hydrogen peroxide. Again, be sure to check instructions on the label of your sleep pants to ensure you don't damage the fabric. Dilute the bleach in warm water and apply directly onto the stain. Leave for a few minutes before washing as normal. This should help to remove the remaining stain.
