How to Easily Remove Medicine Stains From Silk Gazar

Silk gazar is a beautiful fabric, however, it doesn't hold up well to certain stains, such as medicine stains. While removing these stubborn stains can be a challenge, it is possible with the right technique.

What You Need

  • Liquid laundry detergent
  • White vinegar
  • Cotton swab
  • Sponge

Instructions

  1. If stain is fresh, try to remove as much of the medicine as you can with a cotton swab or a paper towel.
  2. Mix 1 teaspoon of liquid laundry detergent and 1 cup of white vinegar in a bowl.
  3. Dip a sponge into mixture and gently rub the stain on the silk gazar.
  4. Rinse area with warm water.
  5. Allow the fabric to air dry.
  6. If the stain persists, repeat the process again.

Tips

  • Test the cleaning solutions on an area that won't be visible to make sure that the color of the fabric isn't affected.
  • Be gentle when rubbing the stain as silk gazar is a delicate fabric.
  • Do not use hot water as this may set the stain.
