The first method to try removing a medicine stain is to use baking soda. Begin by mixing the baking soda with a small amount of water so that it forms a paste. Then, carefully apply the paste to the stain and let it sit for about fifteen minutes. After it has sat for a bit, gently rub the paste into the stain with a damp cloth. Once you have managed to rub most of the stain out, rinse area in cold water and let it air dry.
Another solution to removing a medicine stain is to use white vinegar. Simply mix the white vinegar with an equal amount of cold water and then dab the solution onto the stain with a cotton ball or damp cloth. Let the mixture sit on the stain for a few minutes before rinsing it off with cold water. Repeat this process until stain has been removed and then lay the fabric flat in order to dry.
A third option for getting rid of a medicine stain is to use a pencil eraser. Start by gently rubbing the eraser on the stain. Be sure to rub lightly so as not to damage the fabric. Rub in circles until the stain has been removed and then rinse the area in cold water. Lastly, set the fabric out to air dry.
