Step 1: Pre-Treat the Stained Area

The first step is to pre-treat the stained area of your scrubs. Use a detergent that is specifically designed to tackle tough stains like medicine. For the best results, apply the detergent directly onto the stain, and work it in with a soft-bristled brush. Let the detergent sit on the fabric for 15 minutes to allow it to properly penetrate the fabric.

Step 2: Wash the Item

Once you've pre-treated the stained area, it's time to wash the item in the washing machine. Be sure to use hot water and a color-safe detergent for best results. If your washer has a setting for extra soak time, select it to ensure detergent has plenty of time to work its magic.

Step 3: Dry and Enjoy!

Now all that is left to do is dry item in your dryer. Make sure you choose a low heat setting or air dry setting, as higher heat can set in the stain. Once the item is dry, give it a final inspection for any lingering marks. If there are still some spots, repeating steps one and two should do the trick.

You should now have clean and stain-free scrubs! Now you can get back to job of saving lives without worrying about stained scrubs.
