Step 1: Prepare a Cleaning Mixture
Start by mixing two parts dish soap with one part white vinegar. If you don’t have white vinegar, you can also use lemon juice. This cleaning mixture will help lift the stain without damaging the sandals.
Step 2: Test the Cleaning Mixture
Before you apply cleaning mixture to the sandals, make sure to test it on a small inconspicuous area to make sure it won’t cause any discoloration or damage.
Step 3: Apply the Cleaning Mixture
Once you’ve tested the cleaning mixture, apply it directly to the stained area. You can use an old toothbrush or soft cloth to gently rub the mixture into the stain.
Step 4: Rinse Stain
Rinse off the cleaning mixture with warm water. Make sure to rinse until all of the cleaning mixture is removed and you can no longer see the stain.
Step 5: Dry Sandals
Allow the sandals to air dry before wearing them again. Place the sandals in a dry, well-ventilated area.
