Before you begin cleaning process, make sure you have the following items available:
Once you’ve gathered your supplies, it’s time to start the cleaning process. Begin by soaking the affected area of the lace in warm water and detergent mixture. Leave the lace to soak for 10-15 minutes.
After the lace has finished soaking, use white cloth to gently blot the stained area. This will help to draw out as much of the stain as possible. You may need to repeat this a few times to get the desired results.
For some stubborn stains, try using a combination of strawberry or lemon juice and a toothbrush. Apply the juice to the stained area and then scrub gently with the brush for a few minutes. Then, re-soak entire piece of lace and rinse with warm water.
Once you’ve finished cleaning the rosepoint lace, dry it using a towel. Make sure that the fabric is completely dry before ironing or storing away. That way, you can ensure that no moisture is left behind which could cause more damage to the lace.
