Step 1: Gather Your Supplies

You will need a few things to successfully remove the medicine stains from your rash guard. Before beginning, make sure you have following:

  • A bowl or container big enough to submerge the rash guard
  • Dishwashing liquid
  • White vinegar
  • Oxygen-based bleach (optional)
  • Clean water

Step 2: Submerge Rash Guard in Water

Fill bowl or container with enough warm water to completely submerge the rash guard. Let it sit for around five minutes.

Step 3: Add Dishwashing Liquid and Vinegar

In same bowl or container, add about two tablespoons of dishwashing liquid and one cup of white vinegar. Mix the liquids together until evenly distributed.

Step 4: Soak Rash Guard

Submerge the rash guard in the mixture and let it soak for at least 30 minutes.

Step 5: Rinse and Wash the Rash Guard

After rash guard has soaked, rinse it in cold water and then wash it in the washing machine according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Step 6: Check for Remaining Stains (Optional)

If there are any remaining stains after washing, soak the rash guard in oxygen-based bleach overnight. Rinse the rash guard thoroughly and then wash it again in the machine.

Step 7: Dry and Wear

Once the rash guard is clean, hang it up to dry and enjoy the freshness!
