Medicine stains can be caused by a variety of substances including lotions, creams, and ointments. It's all too easy for these substances to transfer onto the shoes and leave behind an unsightly stain. Fortunately, there are a few simple steps you can take to get the medicines stains off.
What You'll Need
- Small brush (nail brush or toothbrush)
- Laundry detergent
- Clean cloth
Instructions
- Gently brush the stained area with the small brush to remove any excess material.
- Apply the laundry detergent directly to the stained area. Gently rub the detergent into the fabric with your fingers.
- Leave the detergent to work on the stain for 10 minutes.
- Wipe off the detergent with a clean cloth.
- Wash the Keds in the washing machine on a gentle cycle.
- Air-dry the Keds.
