Accidentally spilling medicine on your favorite Fred Perry shirt can be incredibly frustrating. But don’t worry - it’s not impossible to get the stain out! But you must act quickly in order to prevent any lasting effects.

What You’ll Need

  • Cold water
  • Mild, colorless detergent (avoid bleach)
  • Stain remover
  • Baking soda
  • Paper towels or old cloth

Step-by-Step Process

  1. Gently blot the stained area with a paper towel or old cloth to remove as much of the medicine as possible.
  2. Run cold water over back of the stain to flush out as much of the remaining medicine as you can.
  3. Mix a solution of one part mild, colorless detergent and two parts cold water. Apply a light layer of the solution onto stained area and gently rub it in.
  4. Rinse garment with cold water. If stain is still visible, repeat steps two and three until it is removed.
  5. If the stain persists, apply a small amount of store-bought stain remover to area.
  6. If the garment is safe to bleach, use bleach instead of the stain remover. Make sure to thoroughly rinse the garment afterwards.
  7. Once the stain has been removed, run cold water over the area to remove any residue.
  8. Sprinkle a light layer of baking soda over area and allow it to sit for 10-20 minutes.
  9. Remove baking soda and wash the garment according to instructions on tag.
  10. Allow the garment to dry completely before wearing or storing it.

By following these steps, you should be able to successfully remove medicine stains from your Fred Perry clothing. Remember to always act quickly and check care instructions on the tag before attempting to treat stain!
