Removing Fresh Medicine Stains

If the medicine stain is still fresh, begin by gently dabbing the area with a damp cloth - never rub it! Blotting stain will help to remove as much of the stain as possible without setting it deeper into the fabric.

Use Chemicals for Stubborn Stains

If medicine stain is stubborn, you may need to use a chemical cleaner. Be sure to read the instructions carefully and test the product on a inconspicuous area of dress first. Once the cleaner has been applied, blot area again with a damp cloth and rinse.

Dry Safely

Once the medicine stain is removed, lay the dress flat to dry. Hanging the dress while it dries can cause the fabric to stretch and may also set the stain even further.
