1. Pre-Treat the Stain With a Detergent

Gently pre-treat the stained area with a liquid laundry detergent or a pre-treat spray designed for colored fabrics. Allow the detergent to sit on stain for 15 minutes before washing.
2. Wear Gloves Before Washing
Before you start washing the stained fabric, put on some rubber gloves to protect your hands. You'll need to be extra careful when washing double georgette since it is a delicate fabric. Use a mild detergent and cold water to help protect the fabric fibers.
