Step 1: Generously Apply a Stain Remover

The first step to removing any stain is to apply a stain remover as soon as possible. Choose a stain remover that is specifically designed for delicates. Make sure to read the label of your particular remover for instructions. Squeeze a generous amount of the remover onto the medicine stain and let sit for several minutes.

Step 2: Gently Agitate Stain Remover

Once the stain remover has been applied, gently rub or agitate the area with a soft-bristled brush or cloth. This will help to loosen up stain, making it easier to remove. Be careful not to rub too hard, as this could damage fabric.

Step 3: Soak the Garment

Next, fill a tub or sink with lukewarm water and three cups of white vinegar. Submerge the garment in the solution and let it soak for at least 30 minutes. Use a gentle stir of your hand to help agitate the fabric, loosening up any remaining stain particles.

Step 4: Wash the Garment as Usual

Remove the garment from the vinegar solution and rinse until the water runs clear. Run the garment through an extra rinse cycle to ensure all the vinegar and suds are removed. Finally, dry the garment as usual and inspect it for traces of the stain.
