Start by pouring a small amount of baking soda and white vinegar directly onto the stain. Mix the two together until they form a paste-like consistency. Rub it into the stain area gently, taking care not to spread it too widely. Let this mixture sit for about 10 minutes.
Create a cleaning solution with 1 tablespoon of salt and 1 cup of cold water. Dip your cleaning cloth into the solution and dab it onto the stain. It’s important that you don’t rub or scrub the area as this will only cause the stain to spread. Continue to dab cloth until all of the stain is gone.
If there is any remaining residue from stain, mix together 1 tablespoon of dish soap and 1 cup of cold water. Use the cloth to dab this solution onto stain area. Once this is done, take a clean cloth and dampen it with cold water. Use this to rinse all of the soap and residue from cotton voile fabric.
Let fabric air dry in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight. Make sure that the fabric is completely dry before wearing or washing again.
