Step 1: Scrape Up Excess Medicine

Using a spoon or a dull knife, scrape away any excess medicine from the fabric. This will help to reduce the amount of remaining stain.

Step 2: Soak the Fabric in Cold Water

Fill a small basin with cold water and add a tablespoon of liquid laundry detergent. Then, submerge the stained fabric into basin and let it soak for 15 minutes.

Step 3: Rub the Stain

Remove the fabric from the basin and rub the area of the stain gently with a soft cloth. This will help to loosen the stain.

Step 4: Place the Fabric in the Washing Machine

Place now-damp fabric into the washing machine. Set machine to a gentle cycle and add a cup of white vinegar. This will help to further break down stain.

Step 5: Dry the Fabric

After the load is finished in washing machine, remove the fabric and place it in the dryer. Let it dry on the lowest heat setting.

You Did It!

With a little patience and these easy steps, your cotton lawn should be good as new with no trace of medicine stains.
