- Powdered detergent
- Baking soda
- Stain remover
- Soft-bristle brush
- Clean sponge

Steps for Cleaning Medicine Stains from Cotton
- Mix one tablespoon of powdered detergent into two cups of cold water.
- Using a soft-bristle brush, apply the solution to the affected area and allow it to soak in for 15 minutes.
- Rinse with cold water and then with warm water.
- Sprinkle a generous amount of baking soda onto stain.
- Gently rub the baking soda into the affected area with a clean sponge.
- Rinse the garment with cool water, then launder as normal.
- If the stain does not come out after laundering, repeat steps 1-4.
- As a last resort, apply a commercial stain remover directly to the fabric and allow it to sit for 10 minutes, then launder as normal.
