Instructions

  1. Before you start, remove any excess medicine that has spilled onto the lace. Use a soft-bristled brush to brush off as much as possible.
  2. Mix together borax powder and warm water in a plastic container. Allow the mixture to dissolve completely.
  3. Submerge the lace in the mixture and allow it to soak for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Remove the lace from the mixture and rinse it in cold water. Blot dry with a clean cloth.

  7. If the stain is still present, mix together a solution of white vinegar and warm water in another container. Submerge the lace in the solution and allow it to soak for 15 minutes.
  8. Remove the lace from solution and rinse with cold water. Hang to dry.
