The first step in removing a medicine stain is to blot the spot with a dry, clean cloth. This will help lift the majority of the medicine from the corduroy fabric. Be sure to use a light pressure and avoid rubbing the fabric, as this can cause further damage to the material.
Mix a solution of cold water, dish soap, and a few tablespoons of white vinegar. Soak the stained area of fabric in this solution for 15-20 minutes. Allow fabric to air dry completely before proceeding to the next step.
Once the fabric has dried, apply a small amount of hydrogen peroxide directly to the medicine stain. Allow the hydrogen peroxide to sit on the spot for 5-10 minutes. Blot the area with a clean cloth to absorb any excess liquid. Repeat this process until the stain is completely removed.
Once the stain is gone, rinse the area with cold water and allow it to air dry. You can also use a dry cloth or paper towels to dry the area thoroughly.
