Step 1: Blot the Area

First and foremost, it is essential to blot any excess liquid from the area of the purse where the medicine was spilled so that the stain does not spread further. Using a clean towel or paper towels, press gently on the area to soak up as much of the spillage as possible.

Step 2: Mix a Stain Remover Solution

Mix together equal parts detergent and warm water (being sure not to use too hot of water). Make sure to thoroughly stir the solution until it becomes frothy.

Step 3: Apply Solution to Stained Area

Using a soft cloth or sponge, apply the stain remover solution to the area in a circular motion.

Step 4: Rinse and Blot Dry

Once you are done applying the solution, rinse area with clear, lukewarm water and then blot it dry with a towel.

Step 5: Allow to Air Dry

Finally, leave the area to air dry in a well-ventilated area. This will help ensure that any remaining residue from the stain remover is removed.

Additional Tips

  • Always check the fabric content of your Coach purse before cleaning, as some materials may require special attention
  • If stain is still visible after steps 1 - 5, it is best to take purse to a professional cleaner for further treatment.
