As soon as you notice the stain, use a clean cloth or paper towel to blot up any excess medication. Don't rub or scrub the fabric, as this will only make the stain worse.
To pretreat the stain, mix a tablespoon of liquid laundry detergent with warm water. Apply the solution to stain and let it sit for about 20 minutes before washing.
Once pre-treatment has set, put the suit in the washing machine on the delicate cycle. Make sure to wash garment separately so that any colors don't run together.
Once the suit has been washed, carefully inspect it for any remaining residue from medication. If you see any stains, repeat steps 2 and 3.
Put the business suit in the dryer on the low heat setting. Make sure to dry it separately to avoid colors bleeding.
Once the suit has been dried, thoroughly inspect it. If any stains remain, you may need to call a dry cleaning professional.
Removing medication stains from your business suit doesn't have to be complicated. With a few simple steps, you can safely and quickly get rid of the stains.
