Whether it’s a stain from medication such as antibacterial cream or ointment, cleaning a Burberry garment is essential. Follow these tips to ensure your clothing and accessories remain looking their best:
- Carefully brush off any excess product from the fabric. Take care not to rub or scrub, as this can further damage the material.
- Using a cloth dampened with cool water, dab the stain from the inside of fabric. This will help to avoid spreading stain further.
- Mix a small quantity of warm water and liquid detergent in a bowl. Using a soft cloth, apply the mixture to the medicine stain and gently rub the area.
- Rinse the fabric in cold water to remove the detergent. Repeat the treatment if necessary until the stain has been removed.
- Let the Burberry fabric air dry naturally, or use a warm iron to press the fabric and refresh it. Remember to iron on the reverse side to avoid further damage.
It's important to note that these tips should not be used on garments with intricate embroidery or sequins, as they may become damaged by the rubbing action.
