Step-by-Step How to Remove Mayonnaise Stains from White Tie
- If the stain is fresh, blot area with a clean cloth to remove as much mayonnaise as possible.
- Mix one tablespoon of laundry detergent with two cups of warm water.
- Soak the stained area in the mixture for 15 minutes.
- Rinse the area with cool water.
- If stain is still present, apply club soda directly to area with a cotton swab or cloth. Let the club soda sit for 15 minutes before rinsing with cool water.
- If the stain is still not gone, mix one tablespoon of white vinegar with two cups of cool water. Soak the stained area into the mixture for 15 minutes.
