What You Need to Remove Mayonnaise Stain from White Tie:

  • Club soda
  • Laundry detergent
  • White vinegar
  • Cotton swab or cloth

Step-by-Step How to Remove Mayonnaise Stains from White Tie

  1. If the stain is fresh, blot area with a clean cloth to remove as much mayonnaise as possible.
  2. Mix one tablespoon of laundry detergent with two cups of warm water.
  3. Soak the stained area in the mixture for 15 minutes.
  4. Rinse the area with cool water.
  5. If stain is still present, apply club soda directly to area with a cotton swab or cloth. Let the club soda sit for 15 minutes before rinsing with cool water.
  6. If the stain is still not gone, mix one tablespoon of white vinegar with two cups of cool water. Soak the stained area into the mixture for 15 minutes.
  7. Rinse the area with cool water and let it air dry.
