Step 1: Create a Solution

Mix 1 teaspoon of dishwashing liquid soap with 2 tablespoons of white vinegar and warm water in a bowl or container. Make sure to stir mixture until it is thoroughly mixed.

Step 2: Apply the Solution

Dip a cloth into solution and dab it onto the stain. Make sure to apply pressure when dabbing so that solution can penetrate deep into the fibers of the fabric and break up stain.

Step 3: Rinse and Repeat

Rinse area with warm water and repeat steps 1 and 2 until the stain is completely gone.

Step 4: Neutralize Area

To neutralize the area and remove any remaining soap residue, mix 1 tablespoon of white vinegar with 2 cups of cold water. Dip a cloth into the solution and dab it onto stained area.

Step 5: Dry the Area

Use a clean, dry cloth and apply pressure to the area until it is completely dry.
