Summertime is here, which means it’s time to break out your favorite swimwear. Whether you’re heading to beach or the pool, you want your swimsuit to look its best. Unfortunately, mayonnaise stains can quickly ruin look of your swimwear and make it look dingy and worn out. If you’ve got a mayonnaise stain on your swimwear, don’t worry – there’s an easy way to get rid of it.

Step 1:

The first step is to soak affected area in cold water. Let it soak in water for at least 15 minutes. This will help to loosen mayonnaise and make it easier to remove.

Step 2:

Once you’ve let the swimwear soak in the cold water, apply a small amount of liquid laundry detergent directly onto stain. Using a soft-bristled toothbrush, scrub the stain gently in a circular motion. Then rinse the area thoroughly with cold water.

Step 3:

If stain is still visible after you’ve rinsed it off, mix together equal parts of white vinegar and water and apply it directly to the stain. Rub the mixture into the fabric with a soft cloth and let it sit for 15 minutes. Then rinse the area with cold water.

Step 4:

If the stain is still visible, try using a commercial stain remover. Apply the product directly to the stain and then rub it in following the manufacturer’s instructions. Let the product sit for 10 minutes and then rinse off with cold water.

Step 5:

Finally, launder your swimwear as you normally would. This should take care of any remaining stain.

With these simple steps, you’ll have your swimwear looking like new in no time!
