If you've ever had mayonnaise spill in your pool, you know how difficult it can be to clean up afterward. The creamy consistency of mayonnaise makes it especially sticky and hard to remove, and if left unchecked it could damage your pool liner over time. Thankfully, there are several ways to tackle mayonnaise stains and keep your pool looking great!
The first method to remove mayonnaise stains from your pool liner is to make a paste out of baking soda and water. Mix together one part baking soda and one part water until it forms a thick paste. Spread the paste over the mayonnaise stain and scrub gently with a sponge or brush. Allow the paste to sit for at least 30 minutes before rinsing off. Repeat this method as needed until the stain has been removed.
The second method to remove mayonnaise stains from your pool liner is to create a vinegar and water solution. Mix equal parts white vinegar and water in a spray bottle and spray it directly onto the stained area. Scrub area with a sponge or brush, then rinse off with water. Repeat this process as needed until the stain is gone.
A third method to remove mayonnaise stains from your pool liner is to use oxygen bleach. Mix a cup of oxygen bleach with a gallon of water and stir to combine. Then, dip a sponge or brush into the solution and scrub directly onto the stained area. Let the solution sit for about 15 minutes before rinsing off. Repeat this process as needed until the stain is gone.
