What You Need
- 70% Isopropyl Alcohol
- Stain Remover
- Soft Bristled Brush
- White Towel/ Cloth
- Warm Water
Steps for Cleaning the Stain
- Blot the Stain: Use a white cloth to blot the area before you start cleaning. Rubbing or scrubbing the stain at this point will only make it worse.
- Dampen the Fabric: Dampen a corner of a cotton cloth with a bottle of 70% isopropyl alcohol and gently dab stain working outwards not inwards.
- Apply Spot Cleaner: Gently rub spot cleaner on the affected area. Ensure that it is evenly spread across the stain.
- Rinse the Fabric: Rinse away the cleaning product with warm water and a soft bristled brush.
- Let Air Dry: Once you have removed as much of the cleaning product as possible let the fabric air dry. Do not use a blow-dryer to speed up the process as this can damage the fabric.
