Removing Mayonnaise Stains From Silk Noil: An Easy Cleaning Tutorial
Mayonnaise stains can be difficult to remove, but the process is easy when it comes to Silk Noil fabric. All you need is a few simple cleaning supplies and a little bit of patience.

To start, you'll want to dab up as much of the mayonnaise as possible with a paper towel or dry cloth. Don't scrub it in too much or you'll make the stain harder to remove. Once you've dabbed as much as you can, it's time to mix a cleaning solution.
Mix together 1 teaspoon of liquid hand dishwashing detergent with two cups of warm water. Then, dip a clean cloth into solution and wring out any excess. Using gentle circular motions, dab the stain with the cleaning solution until it starts to fade. If stain doesn't come out completely, you may need to repeat process with a stronger solution.
When the stain is gone, rinse the spot with cool running water and then blot it with a dry cloth. You may also want to use a fabric brush to restore the nap of the fabric. Once it's dry, give area a final inspection to make sure the stain is completely gone.
