What You'll Need

  • A few clean white towels
  • Dish soap
  • White vinegar
  • Baking soda
  • Warm water

Instructions

  1. Blot the stained area with a clean white towel to remove as much of the mayonnaise as possible.
  2. Apply a few drops of dish soap to stain and rub it in gently with a dampened cloth.
  3. Mix equal parts of white vinegar and warm water and pour over the stain.
  4. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes.
  5. Scrub the area with a clean cloth to remove as much of stain as possible.
  6. Sprinkle baking soda onto the area and let it sit for 10 minutes.
  7. Rinse the area with warm water and pat dry with another clean cloth.
  8. Repeat if necessary.

Tips & Tricks

  • Always test a cleaning solution on a small, inconspicuous area of the fabric before applying it to the entire stain.
  • Do not pour hot water directly onto the stain, as this may cause damage to the fabric fibers.
  • If stain is still visible after following the above steps, repeat the process one more time. Otherwise, take the garment to a professional dry cleaner for further help.
