Getting Rid of Mayonnaise Stains on Silk Faille: A Guide

What You'll Need
- A few clean white towels
- Dish soap
- White vinegar
- Baking soda
- Warm water
Instructions
- Blot the stained area with a clean white towel to remove as much of the mayonnaise as possible.
- Apply a few drops of dish soap to stain and rub it in gently with a dampened cloth.
- Mix equal parts of white vinegar and warm water and pour over the stain.
- Let it sit for 5-10 minutes.
- Scrub the area with a clean cloth to remove as much of stain as possible.
- Sprinkle baking soda onto the area and let it sit for 10 minutes.
- Rinse the area with warm water and pat dry with another clean cloth.
- Repeat if necessary.
Tips & Tricks
- Always test a cleaning solution on a small, inconspicuous area of the fabric before applying it to the entire stain.
- Do not pour hot water directly onto the stain, as this may cause damage to the fabric fibers.
- If stain is still visible after following the above steps, repeat the process one more time. Otherwise, take the garment to a professional dry cleaner for further help.
