Mayonnaise is a tricky substance that can quickly and stubbornly cling onto fabric. But don't worry – we’ve prepared a fail-safe plan for removing even toughest mayonnaise stains from your scrubs.

Step 1: Blot the Fabric

As soon as the mayonnaise has spilled onto your scrubs, take a clean cloth and start to gently blot the fabric. This will help to soak up as much of mayonnaise as possible before it has a chance to seep further into the fabric.

Step 2: Pre-Treat the Stain

Once you’ve blotted the fabric, prepare a pre-treatment solution using a mixture of one tablespoon liquid laundry detergent and two cups cold water. Using a white cloth, place the pre-treatment over the mayonnaise stain and press it firmly against fabric. Keep the cloth in place for five minutes.

Step 3·: Launder as Usual

Once you’ve finished pre-treating the mayonnaise stain, rinse the fabric in cold water and launder it as usual. Make sure to use cold water and don’t add any fabric softener. After the wash, check the stain to see if it’s still there. If it is, repeat Steps 2 and 3.

Conclusion

We hope these three steps have helped you to tackle that stubborn mayonnaise stain. Although the process takes a few steps, it’s totally worth it for getting your scrubs looking as good as new!
