First, take a clean towel and blot at the stain until no more of the mayonnaise substance is removed. This will help to prevent the liquid from seeping deeper into the fabric of your rashguard.
Using a mild detergent such as Woolite, mix a solution with lukewarm water and submerge the stained area in the mixture. Allow it to soak for about an hour. This will help to break down the proteins in the mayonnaise that are causing stain.
Once soaked, rinse the rashguard with cold water to remove the detergent and any remaining residue from the mayonnaise. Then, launder your rash guard following the instructions on the care tag. Air drying is recommended over machine drying to get best results.
Once you’ve completed these steps, your rashguard should be free from the pesky mayonnaise stain!
