Take a clean cloth or paper towel and dab the mayonnaise stain in order to absorb as much of it as possible.
Mix up a solution of equal parts white vinegar and warm water, then apply this to the mayonnaise stain with a damp cloth.
Use a soft cloth or old toothbrush to lightly scrub area where the mayonnaise stain is located. Do this gently but firmly so that vinegar/water solution penetrates the fabric.
Rinse the area with cold water and use a clean cloth to blot away the excess water.
Once the mayonnaise stain has been treated, launder the clothing article as normal. If the mayonnaise stain appears to have lifted completely, you can proceed with the usual washing cycle. If not, then repeat above steps first before putting the clothing in the wash.
