Start by rinsing area with lukewarm water. This will help remove any excess mayonnaise and make it easier to clean.
Mix one teaspoon of mild detergent with two cups of warm water. Dip an old toothbrush or cloth into the mixture and use it to scrub the stained area.
After removing the mayonnaise, apply a few drops of white vinegar to the stained area. Use a cloth to rub the vinegar into fabric. Allow the area to sit for five minutes before rinsing it off with water.
If the stain remains, make a paste with equal parts baking soda and water. Apply the paste to the stain and let it sit for 15 minutes. Rinse off the paste with water and repeat the process until the stain is gone.
Finally, allow the shoes to air dry in a well-ventilated area. Do not put them in the dryer, as the heat can set the stain.
Removing mayonnaise stains from Nike shoes is easy when you know right techniques. With some mild detergent, white vinegar, and baking soda, you can have your shoes looking like new in no time.
