Using Mild Soap and Water

The most effective way to remove a mayonnaise stain from lace is by using mild soap and water. First, saturate the stain with cold water and blot the area with a clean cloth until the stain lifts. Then, mix a small amount of mild detergent with cold water and gently rub the mixture into the mayonnaise stain. Rinse area with more cold water to remove the soapy residue. Finally, lay the fabric flat and allow it to dry before inspecting stain.

Using White Vinegar

White vinegar is an excellent natural stain remover that is ideal for removing mayonnaise stains from lace. Mix one-part white vinegar with two-parts warm water. Saturate the stained area with the mixture and allow it to sit for up to 15 minutes. Then, rinse area with cold water and lay fabric flat to dry.
