Step 1: Prepare Cleaning Solution

Mix one tablespoon of dishwashing liquid and one cup of warm water in a bowl. Make sure it’s well blended so that you have a soapy solution.

Step 2: Wipe Away the Excess Mayo

Take a clean, soft cloth and gently wipe away any excess mayonnaise. Make sure to do this carefully so as not to scratch lenses.

Step 3: Soak the Cloth

Soak the cloth in the cleaning solution you made in Step 1 and then wring it out so there are no drips.

Step 4: Clean the Goggles

Using the cloth, gently rub away at mayonnaise stain. Do not scrub too hard, as you don’t want to damage the lens. Keep applying the cleaning solution when needed until the stain is removed, then wipe it down with a dry cloth.

Step 5: Rinse Out the Goggles

Once you’re happy with the results, dip the goggles into a bowl of cold water. This will help rinse away any lingering residue from the cleaning solution.

Step 6: Dry the Goggles

Use a dry cloth to pat the goggles dry. Then let them sit out in the open air for a few hours before returning them to your face.
