- White vinegar
- Liquid laundry detergent
- Cotton cloths
- Bucket
Instructions for Erasing a Mayonnaise Stain from Evening Gown
- Create a mixture of one cup of white vinegar mixed in one gallon of cool water.
- Soak the stained area of the dress in the solution for 30 minutes.
- Blot the area with a clean cotton cloth to remove any leftover food solids.
- Once the stain is more visible, rub liquid laundry detergent on the area and let it sit for a few minutes.
- Fill a bucket with cold water and submerge the dress in it.
