Steps For Cleaning Mayonnaise Stains From Duchesse Lace

  1. Start by gently scraping off any excess mayonnaise that is still on the surface of the fabric.
  2. Spray area with a laundry pre-treatment product such as Shout, Zout or Tide Laundry Stain Remover.
  3. Gently rub pre-treatment product into the material with a soft sponge.
  4. Allow the pre-treatment to sit on the fabric for 5-10 minutes.
  5. Rinse the area with cold water.
  6. If stain persists, carefully dab area with a white cloth dipped in rubbing alcohol.
  7. After the stain has disappeared, wash the material in washing machine using the mildest cycle possible.
  8. Dry the fabric using a low heat setting on the dryer or hang to air dry.
