Step 1: Gently Blot

Choose a clean cloth and gently dab the affected area to remove any mayonnaise that is still wet. Do this carefully to ensure that the stain doesn’t spread.

Step 2: Add Detergent

Add a small amount of detergent directly onto stained area. Rub the fabric together until the detergent is evenly distributed.

Step 3: Soak it Up

Fill a sink or basin with lukewarm water and add a few drops of mild detergent. Submerge the garment into the water and let it soak for 10–15 minutes.

Step 4: Rinse and Repeat

Rinse the garment repeatedly with cool water until all traces of soap and detergent have been removed. Repeat steps 2 and 3 if needed.

Step 5: Hang to Dry

After rinsing the garment, lay it flat on a towel and pat it dry. Hang it up to air dry completely before wearing.
