Things You'll Need

  • Stain remover
  • Liquid detergent
  • White vinegar
  • Water
  • Container
  • Paper towels or cloth

Directions

  1. Blot the mayonnaise with paper towels or a cloth to get rid of as much of the stain as possible. Do not rub; this will only spread the stain.
  2. Mix some liquid detergent with water into a container. Dampen a clean cloth with the detergent mixture and dab the stain.
  3. Rinse the area with clean water and a cloth.
  4. Apply some stain remover directly to the mayonnaise stain and let it sit for several minutes.
  5. Rinse the stain with a cloth dampened with water.
  6. Mix equal parts white vinegar and water into another container. Saturate a cloth with mixture and dab at the stain.
  7. Allow the chinos to air dry in a well-ventilated area.

With a few simple steps, you can easily remove mayonnaise stains from chinos. It's important to act quickly once you realize the stain is there, as mayonnaise is notoriously difficult to remove.
