Step 1: Blot the Stain

The first step is to blot up any excess mayonnaise so that it doesn't spread further. Use a clean cloth or paper towel to soak up as much of the mess as possible.

Step 2: Create a Cleaning Solution

Create a cleaning solution by mixing one tablespoon of baking soda, one teaspoon of dishwashing liquid, and one cup of warm water. Mix them together until they form a paste. This will act as an abrasive cleaner to help break up the stain.

Step 3: Apply Solution to Stain

Using a clean cloth, gently apply cleaning solution to the stained area in circular motions. Apply just enough pressure to rub away the stain, but not so hard that it damages the canvas.

Step 4: Rinse & Remove

Once stain has been removed, rinse the area with cool water to remove any remaining residue. Finally, use paper towels to absorb any remaining moisture.

Step 5: Allow to Dry Completely

Leave the area to dry completely before using it again. This should prevent further staining and ensure the best results.
