Step 1 - Soak the Spot

The first step is to soak the spot with cold water for 15 minutes. This will help loosen up the mayonnaise, making it easier to remove.

Step 2 - Treat Stain

After soaking, grab a soft-bristled brush and some mild detergent. Dip the brush in the detergent, then use it to gently rub the mayonnaise spot. Once the spot has been scrubbed, rinse it out with more cold water.

Step 3 - Wash the Bandana

Now that the stain has been removed, throw the entire bandana in the washing machine. Use warm water and mild detergent as usual, and make sure to add a fabric softener to keep your bandana soft and fluffy.

Tips & Tricks

  • If the mayonnaise stain is old, you may need to pre-treat it with a stain remover before washing it.
  • Make sure to let bandana air-dry instead of using a dryer, as heat can set the stain.
