Step 1: Blot Up Any Excess Mayonnaise

The first step for getting rid of a mayonnaise stain is to blot up any excess that is present. Use a soft cloth or paper towel to gently blot away any excess mayonnaise. Do not rub it, as this can spread the stain and make it harder to remove.

Step 2: Apply Dish Soap and Water

Once you have blotted up the excess mayonnaise, you can create a cleaning solution by combining a few drops of dish soap with some warm water. Mix these two ingredients together until you have a bubbly solution. Then, you can dip your cloth or paper towel into the solution and use it to dab the stained area.

Step 3: Rinse and Wipe Dry

After you have dabbed the stained area with the cleaning solution, you can use a clean cloth to rinse off soapy water. Make sure to rinse thoroughly and then wipe the area using a dry cloth in order to dry it off completely.

Step 4: Clean with Vinegar

If the mayonnaise stain still persists, you can try cleaning it with white vinegar. Simply pour a few drops of white vinegar onto the stained area and let it sit for a few minutes. Then, use a cloth or paper towel to blot the area until stain is gone. Lastly, you can rinse area with water and dry it with a cloth.

Step 5: Apply Stain Remover

If the stain is still not coming out, you can try using a commercial stain remover. Simply follow the instructions on product and apply it to the stained area. After applying, make sure to rinse with water and dry with a cloth.
