3 Easy Steps for Removing Mayonnaise Stains from Abercrombie & Fitch Clothing

Mayonnaise is a great condiment to have with just about anything. Unfortunately, it can also cause stains on clothing when you don't handle it with care. If your favorite Abercrombie & Fitch item has a mayonnaise stain, there are a few simple steps you can take to get the stain out.

Gather Your Supplies

Before you start trying to remove the stain, make sure you have all of the supplies that you'll need to clean. Here's what you'll need:

• White vinegar
• Dish soap
• Baking soda
• Warm water
• A few towels

Create a Cleaning Solution

Once you've gathered your supplies, combine one part vinegar with one part dish soap in a bowl. Once the mixture is blended, add a few tablespoons of baking soda to create an effervescent solution. This solution will help to break down the mayonnaise so it's easier to remove.

Apply the Cleaning Solution

Now that you've created the cleaning solution, grab a cloth and soak it in the solution. Make sure you've wrung out the excess liquid before applying cloth to mayonnaise stain. Allow the solution to sit on the stain for at least 10 minutes before washing.

Wash as Usual

After 10 minutes have gone by, put the item into the washing machine as usual. Wash item in warm water and allow it to air dry. Once it's dry, you should notice that the mayonnaise stain is gone, or at least significantly faded.
